The fund’s initial acquisition of the Albany Lifestyle Centre was a high profile 1.8 hectare site on a sought-after location with three road frontages. The fund’s investment strategy is to grow a diversified portfolio of large format retail properties, targeting supermarkets, DIY or hardware stores, bulk retail stores and bulk retail centres throughout New Zealand. A key objective for Oyster Large Format Retail Fund is delivering a stable monthly income return to investors whilst providing the potential for long-term capital gain.
