Jonathan Lockyer

General Counsel and Company Secretary

Jonathan Lockyer is Oyster Property Group’s General Counsel and Company Secretary, and a member of our Executive Leadership Team.

A senior legal practitioner, he has more than 25 years’ experience gained across corporate entities and private legal and investment firms in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Jonathan has deep exposure to the investment sector, experience across a wide range of transactions and robust understanding of the operational, regulatory, and legal environment in the New Zealand property sector.

His previous roles include Director, Legal and Commercial at Millennium Group and Legal Counsel at Digital Mobile. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.
