Reducing energy consumption
We’re committed to improving energy efficiency.
Our goal is to reduce energy consumption and increase performance at our properties. To measure this, we use NABERSNZ Energy Ratings which assesses the energy outcomes of office buildings.
We want to see our office buildings in our portfolio achieve higher ratings, this will not only help us to reduce our environmental impact but also improve the bottom line for our tenants.
MINIMISING CARBON EMISSIONS
We’re committed to do our part in combating climate change.
Oyster Management Limited is Toitū carbon reduce certified in line with ISO 14064-1 and as part of this programme, the business is audited annually by Toitū to review our carbon emissions. The programme assists Oyster to measure, manage and ultimately reduce the amount of carbon emissions that result from our everyday operations. Efficiently managing our carbon emissions is crucial to achieving our sustainability objectives and becoming an environmentally responsible organisation.
The Tania Dalton Foundation
As part of giving back to our local community, we have joined forces with Kiwi organisation, the Tania Dalton Foundation, to support young athletes in New Zealand. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of champions.

Auckland University Scholarship
Investing in future talent is something Oyster truly believes in, which is why we’re proud to support the Bachelor of Property students at The University of Auckland with a $5,000 cash contribution towards each students’ studies.

A Green Star “Design and As Built” building has recently been completed at Central Park in Greenlane, Auckland, achieving 5-stars. This is no small feat, and one we’re immensely proud of.
Oyster is also pursuing Green Star “Performance” certification across selected assets to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and minimising our environmental impact.
